He has held positions as the Head of the Department of Orthopaedics in a hospital in Kwa-Zulu Natal, as well as the head of the Foot and Ankle unit at Stellenbosch University’s Faculty of Orthopaedics.
His field of interest includes knee replacements, sporting injuries to the knee and ankle, as well as a comprehensive range of foot and ankle pathologies. He has gained extensive experience in complex lower limb injuries.
He continues to teach and train orthopaedic surgeons both locally and internationally in foot and ankle surgery, specifically the new minimally invasive surgical techniques.
